A Proven Technology for Trauma Relief:
We bring to veterans 26 years of experience helping people heal trauma, stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD. We have worked in many settings including Police and Military Forces, Prison Rehabilitation, Trauma & Disaster Relief, Depression & serious illness programs. We also bring stress-relief programs to the general population.
Our Mission:
Our mission is focused on healing the effects of trauma and PTSD in OIF/OEF veterans by providing training in effective trauma relief techniques, along with continuous long-term support of those practices, allowing the men and women who served our country to return to a life no longer dominated by the effects of their war-time experiences. Because the influence of trauma in an individual strongly affects family members, they too will be offered this program. Veterans from all eras are also welcome to participate.
An Urgent Need for Early Treatment
The longer treatment for PTSD is delayed, the worse the symptoms can become. Hundreds of thousands of U.S. veterans will develop PTSD, a debilitating condition that, if left untreated, can lead to substance abuse, homelessness, severe depression/anxiety, and suicide. The most severe symptoms may not show-up for 1 to 3 years after retuning home. Unfortunately, the initial response of returning OIF/OEF veterans is to not seek treatment. Veteran aid organizations are not seeing many new veterans until the severity of their problems becomes a crisis.
Our Training Workshop
Volunteer workshop leaders are available now to train groups of veterans. Including a physical therapeutic approach to release the trauma stored in the body, such as the practices taught on the Warrior Breath Workshop, will increase the effectiveness of any treatment program. Training begins with the
