Sponsoring Organization
Project Welcome Home Troops Warrior Breath Workshop is sponsored by the International Association for Human Values, (IAHV), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, humanitarian organization committed to promoting human values across the globe.

IAHV is a United Nations chartered non-governmental organization (NGO) that partners with governments, educational institutions, other NGOs, corporations, and humanitarian individuals throughout the world. By recruiting and organizing volunteers, IAHV develops and delivers disaster and trauma relief programs, as well as projects for community development. IAHV has brought a variety of service programs to millions of people from all walks of life, benefiting a wide range of social, economic and educational needs.

The organization works in special consultative status with the Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations, participating in a variety of committees and activities, related to health and conflict resolution. IAHV is known for its low overheads and strong organizational capacity. This is possible because of our large inspired volunteer base.

Extensive Experience with Trauma Relief in War Zones and Disaster Sites
Since 1997 the International Association for Human Values has sponsored trauma relief programs giving instruction in unique, breathing-based trauma relief techniques. The techniques have proven successful in a variety of settings including: police departments, U.N. forces in Kosovo, active-duty Indian and Russian Military units, prisons, depression treatment courses (including in Baghdad after the U.S. occupation), and disaster survivors at the tsunami disaster, hurricane Katrina, Gujarat earthquake, and many other disaster sites.
